Robert Edward Bruce

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday March 26, 2024 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park with the name of minister of name of church, officiating. Burial will follow on Wednesday March 27, 2024 at Riverside National Cemetery.

Robert Edward Bruce was born in San Antonio Texas to Eugenia M Bruce and Thomas E Bruce on January 6, 1945. He attended several elementary schools before graduating from Centennial High in 1963. In 1979, he graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills.

He married Esther Sue on July 9, 1969 in Compton CA. He worked as a General Superintendent for Dept. of Water and Power for 30 years. He was a veteran of Vietnam and served in the Army. He was involved in the Castaic senior club and High School Reunions. Castaic Times recognized him for his service in the Vietnam War.

Robert Bruce is preceded in death by Wife Sue of 49 years, His parents Eugenia and Thomas, and stepfather Hill.

Robert is survived by his loving son Christopher, his daughter in law Theresa, his granddaughters Kelli and Marisa; his sister Nancy Foster; his goddaughter Nicole Stokes, his dear friend Jackie Jones and a host of family and friends.
