

Steven was dearly loved by his wife Terry, sons Nathan and Adam, brother Greg (Laurie) Ravenscroft, sisters Lisa (Gary) Symington, and Lesley (Scott) Kennedy, and his nieces and nephews Kevin, Kim, Katie (Nick and baby Teddy), Troy and Jessica.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alan and Shirley.
Born in Northridge, CA Steven grew up in the San Fernando Valley where he graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a minor in History. Steve began his career as a safety certification engineer where he worked on attractions at Universal, MGM Las Vegas, Disneyland as well as many other consumer products. Steve joined Lockheed Martin in 1997 as a Research Scientist working on advanced aircraft programs.
Steve had a love of history, music, books, and movies. He particularly liked his “nerdy” interests like Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Marvel Comics, DC Comics (including his favorite Harley Quinn), and The Big Bang Theory. He also had a talent for making and keeping friends for his entire lifetime.
Steve had a big heart and an undying love for his family.
A memorial service will be held on April 9th at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary in Newhall, CA.
