Terril Edward Malam

Terril Edward Malam passed away while surrounded by family on Tuesday December 12, 2023, at his home in Canyon Country, California.

Terry was born October 22, 1942, in Glendale, California to the late Ernest Lewis Malam and late Helen Charlene Fisher Malam. He was a lifelong resident of the greater Los Angeles County, mostly in Santa Clarita.

Terry Graduated from W.S. Hart High School in 1960. His lifelong affinity for cars led him to his career as an automobile mechanic. He was owner and operator of Malam’s Automotive Engineering from 1971 to the time of his passing in 2023.

Terry was also an avid golfer and enjoyed his membership at Crystalaire CC. Over the course of his life, he managed five holes in one. He was also a member of the Southern California Golf Association for many years.

Survivors include wife and longtime love, Gwendoline Hansen of Santa Clarita, son Curt Malam and wife Dianne of Jupiter, Florida, sister Joyce Setter, brother Ronald Malam and his wife Carol of Llano, CA. Terry was also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many beloved friends who were as close as family.

Terry was predeceased by brother Kenneth Malam, and brother-in-law Robert Setter.

The funeral will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 24915 Peachland Ave, Newhall, CA 91321 on January 08, 2023. Viewing and visitation 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, Funeral Service 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside consecration at 1:00 PM.
