Bobby Drew Drew Cullars

He was born May 9th, 1952, in Catawba County, to Robert Carl Cullars and Nancy Knox Cullars, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include Wesley Cullars, son, and his fiancée, Mary Winte, his longtime caregivers, of the home in Hickory.

Megan Cullars, daughter, and fiancée, Jesse Cass of Newton, and Sierra Eve Cullars, daughter of Claremont, and son, Nathan Cullars, and wife, Stephanie, of Newton survive him.

Carol Wike, sister, of Granite Falls, and Robert Cullars, brother of Alabama, also survive him.

He has four granddaughters: Martina Jenkins of WV, Isabella Cass and Emma Cass of Newton and Chelsea Cullars of Sherrills Ford.

Drew was a hardworking man and was employed at Broyhill Furniture in Conover for many years. He enjoyed sports and spoke often of his high school football days.

For the last few years, Drew has suffered many health problems, with kidney failure, heart problems, and finally cancer. But, he spent his last remaining years witnessing to every nurse, doctor, technician, and everyone he encountered, telling them of his love for God and His wonderful Grace and Mercy.

All who knew him, family, friends, and acquaintances, will miss him greatly.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his passing will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Brown and Rev. Randy McLean officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service, Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.
