

Clint was born and raised in Catawba County on February 1, 1955 to Roy Eugene and Rhoda Laffon.
Clint found his calling in life raising a family of four children with his wife, a farm, and working with his hands. Clint had a love for wood working, animals and children. He was a talented man who could build anything out of wood. He was infamous for his quick wit, trickster ways, and loving friendship. His church family cherished his booming singing voice of the good old gospel hymns.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Teresa Bradshaw Laffon; sons, Chase Laffon, Cadyn Laffon; daughters, Christy Stowe and husband, Jason, Callie Laffon; sister, Debbie Parker and husband, Tony; and grandchild, Jace Stowe.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.
The funeral service will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Old St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Newton, with Reverend Robert Sain officiating.
