Edith Jarrett Jarrett Pearson

Born September 11, 1908 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Lester and Fannie Maebelle Eckard Jarrett. She was a member of Hickory Seventh Day Adventist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Gillard Pearson; son, Larry Williams; brothers, Guy Jarrett, Glenn Jarrett; sisters, Zelda J. Finger and Ruth J. Starnes.

Survivors include: daughters, Cathy Williams and husband, Don of Vale, Sara Bolch and husband, Jim of Vale; son, Dan Williams and wife, Judy of Newton; grandchildren, Larry Dale Williams, Mark Williams, Linda Hanson, Catherine McCrary, Suzanne Baer, Erica Williams, Brian Williams, Tara Piercy; 15 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and sister, Barbara Jarrett Reese of Savannah, GA.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ted Bost officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park prior to the service.

The family will receive friends from 2:00p.m.to 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.
