Edythe Alice Porter Taylor, 85, was born on February 11, 1939 to the late Robert Marvin Porter and Henrietta Lucille Conyers Porter. She passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Abernethy Laurels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son John Bellamy Taylor III.
She is survived by her husband, John Bellamy Taylor Jr; daughter, Edie Ellis and husband Michael; grandchild Caleb Ellis.
A inurnment service will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 2pm with Pastor Jody Welker officiating.
