Born November 28, 1914, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Kennedy and Barbara Hustler Kennedy.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Joseph Robert Herbert and her sister, Alma Adams.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry Herbert and wife, Cathy of Sherrills Ford, NC, Mark Kennedy Herbert; grandchildren Melissa Maas and husband, Derek, of Lexington, SC, and First Lieutenant Justin L. Herbert of Charlotte, NC.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Rehobeth United Methodist Church in Terrell, with Rev. Robert Kerr officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., at Rehobeth United Methodist Church.
