Joyce Shirley Keller

She was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church for 31 years, where she lovingly served as a dedicated Sunday School teacher. Joyce also enjoyed her career at Frye Regional Medical Center, where she worked for many years. Above all, her life was centered on her deep love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that faith was evident in the way she lived each day. She cherished her family and her church family dearly, finding great joy in serving, encouraging others, and sharing God’s love. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Hyler, and husband Christopher Hyler; her grandchildren, Brittany Hyler, Caleb Hyler, Katorah Hyler, Nathanyah Hyler, Yahab Hyler, Mashonyah Hyler, Deborayah Hyler, and Jesse Bentley; her brother, Lynn Ikerd; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Keller.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 131 Duke Street, Granite Falls, NC 28630. Receiving of friends and family will take place an hour prior, starting at 2:00 PM. Officiated by Pastor Jerry Stines.

Burial will take place the following day on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Catawba Memorial Park, 3010 US-70, Newton, NC 28658.
