Kyle Patrick Toomey

Kyle was a drummer in marching band and a State Champion wrestler for Newton-Conover High School and attended Western Carolina University. After leaving WCU he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was medically discharged from the Marines in 2018 and remained a strong patriot for the rest of his life.

Kyle was an incredible son, brother, uncle, and friend. He would give anything he had for someone that he loved. His joy was contagious to all who knew him. It’s impossible to sum up any amount of words how much he meant to so many people.

He is survived by his parents, Patricia Weber and Peter Toomey; his siblings, Sara (William) Emerson, Casey Toomey, and Cayden Toomey; his two nieces, Amelia and Ella Emerson; and his girlfriend, Katey Hicks.

There will be a receiving of friends and family at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton, NC on Friday, November 25th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover, NC on Saturday, November 26th at 11:00am. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Woodlawn Baptist Church gymnasium.
