Margie was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Conover, NC. Although in ill health for many years, she read the Bible and her devotional readings daily and watched sermons on television every Sunday. She was a child of God.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Though in poor health physically for far too many years, she was strong in mind, spirit, determination and faith. The family is thankful that she can now rest in peace, but she will be terribly missed. We were blessed to have her in our lives.
The family would like to thank Prestwick Nursing Home in Avon, Indiana, and Mama’s Hospice Caregiver Dawn for their loving, compassionate care in her final days.
Calling and service will be at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home, 56 Northwest Boulevard, in Newton, beginning at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 6, 2014.
