

A lifelong resident of the Balls Creek community, she was born April 3, 1928, the daughter of the late John Ambrose Cline and Bonnie Marie Setzer Cline.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Vernon Reinhardt; daughter, Linda Marie Reinhardt Lowman; and brother, Jay Setzer Cline.
She was a graduate of Balls Creek High School and Lenoir Rhyne College. A high school teacher for several years, she left that profession to care for her children. She later returned to work as a secretary at Rhyne Hardware in Newton. She was a very active member of Bethany United Church of Christ for 63 years, teaching children’s Sunday school classes for 25 of those years. Her favorite past times were working crossword puzzles, following Bandys High School sporting events, and watching Atlanta Braves baseball. Above all else, she loved her family and enjoyed every moment she had with her grand and great grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Larry Reinhardt and his wife, Rickie of Monkton, MD; a son-in-law, Randy Lowman and his wife, Patty of Newton; four grandchildren, Karl Reinhardt and his wife, Jennifer of Lutherville, MD, Kyle Lowman of Lincolnton, Erin Reinhardt Moorhead and her husband, James of Denver, CO; Trent Lowman and his wife, Heather of Hickory. Also surviving are 6 great grandchildren, Karsyn, Grayson, Avery, Scarlett, Jackson, and Elyse; and 4 step-great grandchildren, Olivia, Blake, Braxton, and Aniston.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. Rev. Colleen Samson will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home.
A private committal service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Bethany United Church of Christ Cemetery in Claremont.
