Rita Roberta Lewis

She was born October 28, 1945, in Phoenix, AZ to the late Harry Robert Haley and Garnet Marie Wellman Haley. Rita loved serving others. This was evident in her church where she was active over the years in the Children’s Ministry, the Café, the Club Ministry, the Prayer and Share on Tuesday mornings, and Dorcas Ladies of Christ Alive Church in Newton. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Survivors left to cherish Rita’s memory are her loving husband of 50 years, Loyd Lewis of the home; sons, Robert Lewis and wife, Renee, and Tim Lewis; daughters, Edwina Santos and husband, Brian, and Tabitha Phillips and husband, Jack; brother, Roy Robert Haley and wife, Claryn; grandchildren, Adam Santos, Stefani Long and husband, Jake, Joey Santos, Trici Santos, Daniel Delgado and wife, Raa´, Brandon Lewis and wife, Ashleigh, Dalton Lewis; and nine great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Christ Alive Church in Newton

with Rev. Mark Ivey officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Church.
