

Born July 4, 1944 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Irene Sacks Lindenbuam. Raised Jewish in Baltimore, she came out as a Christian to her family and attended Piedmont Bible college in Winston Salem. In her professional life she worked in the Forsyth county court system and upon retirement, she was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
Sharon was a very active member of the Universal Fellowship Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC) in the Gulf Lower Atlantic District (GLADD), and later in the International Community Christian Churches (ICCC). At age 71, she was ordained and pastored Christ’s Church of the Foothills.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Rev. Christine Oscar.
Survivors include brothers, Ronald Lindenbaum and wife, Rhonda of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Lindenbaum and wife, Glenda of Baltimore, MD; niece, Amy Liss and husband, Howard of Baltimore, MD; nephews, Heath Lindenbaum and fiancé, Megan Wiley of Baltimore, MD, Murray Lindenbaum, Shawn Lindenbaum and wife, Shelly; and several great nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
