Curtis was born on March 17, 1960, to the late David and Phyllis (Gibson) Blackman. He was raised in Garwood and eventually settled in Sussex County where he spent the last 15 years of his life.
Curtis loved cars, from the sleek body lines and color matched wheels of the newer styles to the nostalgic classic styles. He also cherished his time spent with his family.
He is survived by his sister; Kathleen Frolich (Mark), his niece and nephews; Mark (Lynsie), Brett (Kendall), and Kali (Mathew), and his grand-nieces and –nephews; Brody, Madison, and Mason.
Services are being held privately under the care of Smith McCracken Funeral Home, Newton, NJ.
