Margaret was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, she moved to Byram Township in the 1960’s and has been a Sussex County resident since. After graduating high school, Margaret worked several years with Emerson Radio as an executive assistant.
With a deep devotion to God and faith, Margaret was a longtime member of St. Michael’s R.C. Church in Netcong, NJ. She was a selfless woman who always put others first. Margaret was a volunteer with SCARC, Inc. an organization dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities where her son, Michael, was a Special Olympian and participated in many activities. She expressed her artistic talents through crafting with her close group of friends. Margaret also loved a great bargain and could be found frequenting garage sales along with her daughter-in-law, Debra, on the weekends. Above all else, she put family first and is remembered fondly as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, John C. Hulse; her parents John and Irene O’Neill; her children, Linda M. Hulse and Michael A. Hulse; and her sister, Joan Brady. She is survived by her son, John Hulse; her grandchildren, Ashley Hulse (Steven Matos, Dale Appleby, Jr. (Melissa Miczak), Skylynn Taylor and Hailey Taylor; and her great-grandchildren, John C. Hulse, Mariana Matos, Brielle Appleby and Dalton Appleby.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s R.C. Church in Netcong, NJ at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Newton Cemetery, Newton, NJ.
