Born to Joseph Frank Sisco and Anna Meribah (Beadrslee) Sisco, Sandy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Sandy's family was her heart. She is survived by her son Richard Sisco and daughter-in-law Kellie Sisco, son Thomas Sisco and Beth Passamore, and daughter Jodie (Evans) Schoch and son-in-law Peter Schoch. She was incredibly proud of her six grandchildren: Niccole Sisco (Jesse Beaver), Joseph Sisco, Donald (Amy) King Sisco, Evan Schoch, Sofie Schoch, and her great-grandchild Boone Beaver.
She was one of seven children and leaves behind her brother Allen Sisco (Phyllis), sister Diane (Eddie) Organes, brother John Sisco, sister Evelyn Lott, and sister Kathy Quigley. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Raymond “Doug” Sisco, her sister-in-law Bonnie Sisco, brother-in-law Frank Lott, brother-in-law James Quigley, and her sister-in-law and best friend Betty Sisco.
The impact Sandy had on those around her is immeasurable. Her dedication to family was unparalleled, and she lived by the mantra, “Family First.” She welcomed everyone into her life as family, whether they were by blood or by bond, and was fiercely protective of those she loved. Sandy loved deeply and with unyielding loyalty, and those who knew her will forever feel her warmth and strength.
Throughout her life, Sandy pursued many careers, but above all, she wanted to be remembered as a great mother and grandmother—and she was. Her legacy of love, devotion, and care for others will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of life will be held at Lafayette Pond in Lafayette NJ at 11:30 AM on May 18, 2025. In lieu of flowers, Sandy requested donations to the American Lung Association. She would have preferred that any gesture made in her memory go toward helping others still with us, rather than spending money on flowers.
Sandy will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
