Stanley was born in Newton on October 4, 1951 to the late Robert and Helen (Lukawitz) Elston. Stanley was a lifelong residence of Sussex County. Prior to his retirement, he was a handyman. Stanley was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping.
Stanley is survived by his children, Stanley Elston, Jr, Thomas Elston (Erin Fisher) and Janet Quinteros and his sisters, Barbara Kieffer (Art), Patricia McMickle, Tina Hanrahan and Maryann Mason (Bob).
All services are being held privately by the family.
