Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025 in St. Catharines, Ontario at the age of 89 and is now reunited with his wife Evelyn (2017). Loving father of Joyce (Rick) Lott, Jack Scholtens, Albert (Carla) Scholtens, Evelyn McDonald, Trish Sexton (Tony Mule). Adoring grandpa to 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Albert was the youngest of 7 children who have all predeceased him. He was born in Beilen Netherlands and immigrated to Canada at the age of 21 where he met his wife Evelyn, the love of his life.
He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. We want to say a special thank-you to the wonderful caring staff at Linhaven Nursing Home.
Family and friends will be received at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 278 Parnell Road, St. Catharines on Monday March 31, 2025 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A Funeral will be held in the church on Tuesday April 1st at 11:00am followed by an interment at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
