Aline Marie (nee Richardson) Losier

Passed away, surrounded by her family and love, at her home, on Wednesday, September 11, 2025, at the age of 82.  Beloved wife for 60 years to Claude.  Loved Mom of Chris and her son in law Dave Comer, Brigitte and her son in law Ted Tremblay, and the late Pat (2017).  Cherished Mémère of Leigha (Subbiah) Comer and Ian Comer; and her great-grandchildren George and William.  Dear sister of Eloise, Marie (Gaetan), Raymond (the late Reina), Armand (Norma), Françella, Simond (Bertha), Thérèse (Roger), and Yvette.  Predeceased by her parents Rubin and Gladys (nee Austin) Richardson.  Lovingly remembered by her Losier brothers in law and sisters in law, many nieces, nephews and her extended family.  

Aline was a mentor to many and served her community with passion and heart as an RN at GNGH for 30 years.  She was a keen quilter, seamstress, gardener, and cook.  She earned her “Guardian Angel” wings knitting preemie outfits for the babies in NICU. She was encouraging to all, sharp as a tack, independent, driven, and brave. She was the glue that held her large family together through it all.  

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls.  A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at the funeral home on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11 a.m.  Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.  Because of Aline’s penchant for helping and empowering others, memorial donations made to Birchway Niagara (formerly Nova House) to assist women in need, would be appreciated by the family.  Please consider sharing a memory or story of Aline below for her family.
