Betty Marie Garrett

Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on November 5, 2013 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon (Veteran) who passed away in 2005. Loving mother of the late Michael Sacco (1949), Thomas (Tracy), Catharine (Robert), Steven (Sonya), Step-mother of (the late) Barbara, and Joan, Nancy, Bonnie (Ray), Gordon Jr., Jill (Gary), Betty, Kenneth (Lori), Bruce (Leslie), and Douglas. Survived by her sister Donna and brother Robert. Missed by her grandsons Isaac and Elijah Sacco, by her many step-grandchildren & great grandchildren, her sisters-in-law Theresa Garrett and Giselle Garrett, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by her best friend for many years Karen Bacon and sadly missed by her cat Mr. Chin. Predeceased by her sisters Patricia (2013), Mary (1999), and Audrey (2010).

Family & Friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, on Saturday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 12 Noon. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
