Bill (William) James White

With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our "Wonderful Willy White" at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 86.

Beloved and devoted husband of Janet (m. 2008) and the late Laurie (2007). Cousin to the late Mary Ellen Gray. Proud and loving father of Barbaranne (Paul), Terry (Lorraine), Steve (Yvonne), Paul (Jeannie). Papa of Natasha (Randy), Ashley (Colin), Katie, Jessica, Jacklyn, Doug, Caitlin, Jacob. Great Papa of 7.

Born in Nova Scotia, Bill was proud of his eastern roots. A lighthearted, positive guy, he could find the silver lining in anything. Always up for entertaining friends and family, greeting you with a warm welcome and amusing stories. He enjoyed classic country music. His love of NASCAR brought him such joy and he was so proud to work with the NASCAR team. He was a safety crew member at Daytona, Michigan and Cayuga. He will be cherished and missed by all his NASCAR family and friends. He took great pleasure in driving his family anywhere they needed to go. He loved to travel with his family enjoying boating, cottaging, NASCAR races, camping and cruising. Most of all he always enjoyed sharing a beer or two with his boys in his life and you know who you are.

A celebration of life will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 265 Wellington Street, St. Thomas on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
