Carol Ann Gillespie (nee Noxel)

GILLESPIE, Carol Ann (nee Noxel) - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday April 12, 2014 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Agnew (1979) and the late Alexander Gillespie (2001). Dearly loved mother of John (Tamara) Agnew, Richard (Debbie) Agnew and Karen (Leo) Pagnotta. Cherished grandmother of Shannon (Matthew) Vandenberg, Calvin Pagnotta, Shelby Agnew, Robert Agnew, Vincent Pagnotta and Kaitlin Pagnotta. Carol had a passion for volunteering and was well known for her volunteer work in Niagara Falls at the Festival of Lights and the Coronation Centre. She also enjoyed traveling and going on trips with friends. Carol leaves behind many friends and relatives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Carol donations to the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
