Passed away suddenly at her home in Niagara Falls on Monday June 6, 2022 at the age of 72. Predeceased by her husband, best friend & love of her life, Robert "Grumpy" Potter (2004). Cherished mother of Terri (Dale) Arnold, Jeff ( Brandy) Potter, Leigh-Anne (Graig) Sullivan. Proud grandmother of Julia & Jayke Arnold, Alex & Zack Sullivan, Kyli Day & Jaxon Arnold. Dear sister of Cathy (Don) Jones, Marilyn (Bruno) Canal. Sister-in-law to, Janie (the late Wayne) Potter, & Gordon (Diane) Potter & Jim Ives. She will be sadly missed by many nieces & nephews. Carol is predeceased by her parents, Fred & Pearl Lutz & her sister Janice Ives as well as her brother Robert Lutz.
Carol had a generous heart & loved to bake! Her shortbread cookies were always a hit, & many times she would bake you a treat " just because". Nothing made her prouder than her grandchildren & their many accomplishments.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Thursday June 9th 2022 from 6-8pm and Friday June 10th from 10-11:00am. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00am with a burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
