Christopher 'Chris' Joseph Mackisey

MACKISEY, Christopher Joseph 'Chris' 'Krispe' - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at the age of 58. Cherished father of Kalista Mackisey (Quinn O'Brien) and precious son of Lorne and Lynn (nee Kostandoff)  Mackisey. Loving brother of the late Craig (1977) and Jennifer (Mike) DeCoff. Dear uncle of Tyler and Max DeCoff, cherished nephew of Christine (Joe) Lakomy and Christine Ballantyne as well as many cousins. Chris was a larger than life individual, loud and adventurous, who loved the outdoors and lived for thrilling adventures. He was not just an adventurer, but also a troublemaker at heart, always seeking out mischief and mayhem wherever he went. Trouble seemed to follow him wherever he went but what truly stood out about him was his kindness and heart of gold. A storyteller at heart, his best days were spent cruising on his boat along the Niagara River or camping on Navy Island. Social and determined, with a touch of stubbornness in a good way, he never shied away from a challenge. He loved his dog 'Wick" dearly and was always quick to share his love for life with those around him. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Wednesday September 3, 2025 from 1 pm to 3 pm.
