PHILLIPS, Danica 'Diane' - Peacefully in the comfort of her home, with her daughters holding her hand, our beloved mother took her last breath on Tuesday October 20, 2015. Heaven received a truly remarkable angel, after a two year battle with cancer our precious mom is at peace. Beloved wife of the late James Phillips (2011). Cherished mother of Janice (Ted) Potter, Rosemarie (Kerry) Davies and Diane (Ray) Desormeaux. She was a loving grandmother who gave so much of herself to her grandchildren; James Potter, Tiffany (Anthony) D`Amico, Jonathon (Kelly) Davies, Jessica (Derek) Bradshaw, Ryan (Veronica) Desormeaux, Jeremy Davies and Danielle Desormeaux. Dearly loved great-grandmother to Caleb and Carter D'Amico. Adored sister to Sally (Bud) Weiss. Predeceased by her brother William Stekovich (2010). We are forever thankful, and know it would not have been possible without their help to keep our mom at home during her illness. We express our deep appreciation and gratitude to Jane Carson, Dr. Wendy Proctor, Rafael Pablo from St. Elizabeth's and the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and the Walker Family Regional Cancer Centre. We were blessed to have all of you by our side to encourage, comfort and care for our precious mother. Love you all... Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
