Danny Pirillo

PIRILLO, Danny - We announce with very heavy hearts the unexpected passing of our oldest brother Danny, who passed at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at the age of 58. Predeceased by his father the late Leonardo Pirillo (2005), and loving son to Ida Pirillo (nee Serravalle). He was a father to Jazmin Bye, and brother to Joseph (Sue) Pirillo, Frances (Robert) Sorrenti and Christina (Jason) Fortuna. A loving uncle to Bianca, Nicholas, Justin, Joshua, Carter & Mila. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and close cousins that he adored from near & from far. He will be missed by his long time friend Janice Dickson. Danny’s passion and career started and continued in the automotive business where he went on to own & operated Regional Auto Parts & Recycling in Niagara Falls for many successful years. Raised in Thorold, he would be remembered by his love for music and his guitar playing talents in bands who went on to perform in many bars/venues all over the region. He enjoyed spending time in his motorhome and on his boat with family & friends. Danny will be remembered by his BIG golden heart, his generous way of always giving & pleasing others, and his endless hours spent working hard and helping family & friends in need. Danny spent many numerous family vacations in sunny Florida and at his beachside condo in beautiful Cocoa Beach. He always had a genuine smile that you can see in his eyes from all those who knew and loved “Dan”. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and at a later date a private immediate family inurnment blessing service at Lakeview Cemetery in Thorold will be held. In lieu of flowers to honour his love for his father, donations can be made to support the Alzheimer’s Society of Niagara, or Danny's daughter Jazmin who is currently studying to be a social worker has requested donations helping her charity wish to CASON.
