FERGUSON, David George ‘Fergie’ - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday August 31, 2023 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of over 25 years to Kathy Patterson (nee Whissell). Cherished father of Laurie-Anne Ferguson (Kevin Webber), Connie Ferguson (Dano Herbert), David Ferguson, stepfather of Steven Patterson (Nadine Bishop), Jennifer Patterson (Paul Tanasi). Loving grandfather of Chris Herbert, Cody Herbert, Hailie Herbert, Braeden Ferguson, Sarah Webber, Michaela Ferguson, Kyle Webber, Nunzio Tanasi, Avery Ferguson. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Donna Ferguson, niece Kim Karas (Tom Brown), nephews Rob (Paula) Karas, Chris (Laurie) Karas. Predeceased by his parents George and Helen (nee Burnet) Ferguson. David worked for Hayes Dana for over 35 years until his retirement. He will be remembered for his perfectly manicured green lawn and his perfectly styled hair. Perhaps now he will have a never ending supply of OV. Cremation has taken place followed by a private family visitation. A public Celebration of Life will be planned for the spring of 2024, and will be announced at a later date.
