David Albert Ryan

RYAN, David 'Dave' - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday January 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 45 years to Eva (nee Valente) and cherished son-in-law to Antionetta Valente. Cherished father to Dana (Alfred) Lambert, Joe Ryan, Wendy Wood, Wesley Ryan and predeceased by his son Timothy Ryan (2018). Loving grandfather to Kristine, Beth, Brock, Anna, Jessie, Dennis, Chelsey and great grandfather to Karly and Wyatt. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Ted Ryan, brother -in-law to Pat Valente and be deeply missed by his dear friend Pete Tashoff. Dave was a jovial person who loved people, there wasn't a stranger that he met that he didn't like. He was an extremely hard worker, he enjoyed walks with his dog on his scooter, reading, fishing, woodworking and home renovations. He served with the United States Navy Services during the Korean war as a diesel mechanic stationed in Cuba. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a future date.
