Don Briggs, of Niagara Falls, Ontario passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the age of 81, while holding hands of loved ones listening to his favourite music. He was born on May 4, 1943. Don has reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Dalia. He is survived by his daughter Amber Briggs, son Will Briggs, grandson Keegan Briggs and brother David Alan Briggs.
Don proudly worked for 30 years as a Niagara Falls Fire Fighter to the rank of Platoon Chief. Dedicated member of the board for Tender Wishes and a longtime supporter of many veterans through the Royal Canadian Legion. Don’s kindness, generosity and the love for his family will never be forgotten.
Friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls (905-354-5614) on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
