Passed away peacefully at Greater Niagara General Hospital, Niagara Falls on December 26, 2019 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Robert Raymond “Rae” King (July 30 2013), her parents; William and Lily Ball and her brother William (Barb) and sister Lillian Newman-Ball. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Janey (the late Howie) King of Walnut Creek, CA. and Irene (the late Alan) King.
Survived by many nieces and nephews throughout the country and in the US and by her nephew David (Deborah) Newman in Tennessee and niece Carey Burke in Niagara Falls.
Dorothy enjoyed volunteering for the Book Riot and bazaars and doing crafts.
She was also a long-time member of St. Andrews United Church on 5645 Morrison Street in Niagara Falls and it is fitting that her Celebration of Life will be held here on Friday January 17th at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior.
