McDONALD (LOW), Dorothy (1926-2022) - Dorothy McDonald, of Chippawa Creek at Bella Senior Care Residence, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 95. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and raised in England, Dorothy came to Canada in 1952, eventually settling in Chippawa, where she spent the rest of her days. Predeceased by her husbands, Alexander Low (1970) and Donald McDonald (2014). Mother of Stephen Low (Karen), Robert Low (Shinaz), Denise McKinnon (late Terry), Gary McDonald, late Donald McDonald Jr. (2009)(Elaine), and the late Michael McDonald (2018). Cherished Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Survived by her sister, Irene, in England. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the current pandemic conditions, a celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at a later date. A special and heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bella for their years of care and caring for our Mum. You were her second family.
