Edna Irene (Boyd) Gostick

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Edna on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her home with her sister Margaret by her side after a lengthy battle with cancer, just following her 86th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Gostick. Dear mother of Joanne Gostick, Brian Gostick, the late Randy, the late Ronald and the late Evan. Cherished grandmother of Justin, Brett, Miranda, Megan, Scott, Sarah, Kim, Evan, Tylor, Travis, Kyle, Jamie, Alex, and Jeffrey, as well as several great and great-great grandchildren. Loving sister of Iris Gammom, Margaret Henry, the late Velma, the late Carmel, the late Gilman, the late Carlton, and the late Byrl. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Edna was a devote Christian and a longtime member and Elder at First Muskoka Congregational Christian Church.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and was entrusted to Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home, 1 Mary St. Bracebridge, Ontario (705-645-2257). Family and friends will be received from 1 p.m. until the service time. The family requests that all those planning to attend the services indoors wear face masks. Burial will take place in Glen Orchard Cemetery with her husband Lloyd and two sons. If desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
