Eileen 'Jean' Taylor

TAYLOR, Eileen 'Jean' -  Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, December 15th at the age of 91 at Tabor Manor Long Term Care Home in St. Catharines.  ‘Jean’ to all of her friends, and ‘Ma’ to her 3 boys Dave Taylor, Greg (Astrid)Taylor, and Scott (Aimie)Taylor.  A loving and devoted wife to the late David Taylor Sr. (pre-deceased, 2021) for 66 years, Jean was also ‘Grandma’ to her 6 grandchildren, Jesse Taylor, Jake Taylor (Arden Metcalfe-Roach), Kacey Taylor (Graham Valliant), Wes Taylor, Sydney (Nate) Sitkiewicz , and Jack Taylor.  Jean was well-known for her artistic talents making creative birthday and wedding cakes bringing joy to her many clients throughout the Niagara Region.  Always organized and meticulous, her famous handwritten calendar was the certified family record of everyone’s birthday, and the official reference for all social events with friends and family.  As a model homemaker and mother, she will always be remembered for her dedication to her husband and family, making self-sacrifices her entire life forever putting others first.  Strong in her faith, she is now at peace and reunited with Dad. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday December 23, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm with a service to follow.  In memory of Jean, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society and would be appreciated.
