FERREN, Emmaleigh Natalie Catherine - It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing, at home, on Thursday August 27, 2015, at the age of 24. Emmaleigh is survived by her father David, her 'Aussie Mommy' Kim, sisters Kelsey and Courtney, grandparents Peter and Catherine, and aunt Joanne. She was predeceased by her mother Nancy Ferren, grandparents Richard and Lena Martignago, and uncle Kevin Martignago. The family would like to offer their gratitude to all those who have assisted Emmaleigh over the years, especially Mr. John Belcastro, Jr., Vice-Principal of Notre Dame College School, the staffs at the Niagara Eating Disorder Outpatient Program, Greater Niagara General Hospital, McMaster Children's Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital (Hamilton), and at Remuda Ranch (Wickenburg, Arizona). A special thank you to our Pastor, Father Peter Rowe, for his love and support. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date at Fairview Cemetery.
