Eugen Burri

BURRI, Eugen - Passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital on Sunday January 9, 2022 at the age of 73. Eugen will be deeply missed by his partner Anthony Bell. Beloved Godfather of 5; Shelby Kwiatek, Kianna Kwiatek, Dillon Kwiatek, Johnathan Allard and Marissa Allard. He will be fondly remembered by his special friend John Kwiatek. Eugen was born in Switzerland and trained as a professional chef in Zurich. After immigrating to Canada in 1974, he started his career at the Happy Wanderer where he worked for 35 years, simultaneously at The Club Heidelberg for 38 years, followed by 5 years at Betty's Restaurant. Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19 including the requirement for face masks, social distancing, maximum occupancy limits and pre-booked appointments (by calling the funeral home 905-358-3513 between 9 am and 5 pm), friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday January 14, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
