Passed away peacefully in her sleep at The Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday November 21, 2010. Evelyn was two weeks away from celebrating her 90th birthday on Sunday December 5, 2010. Evelyn is survived by her son in law Gordon Martin. She is predeceased by her husband Sam (1986) and her daughter Elizabeth (2009). She is also predeceased by her parents Harry and Ada Barnett. Evelyn was a warm and caring individual who loved animals, especially dogs and cats, and gave donations to many charities on their behalf.
Thank you to the staff of the Trillium Unit at GNGH. A very special and sincere thank you goes out to Tenille who was very supportive, caring and compassionate as she took care of Evelyn during her last days.
