Frances Elizabeth Garrett

GARRETT, Frances Elizabeth - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday February 23, 2019 at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late Norman 'Zeke' Garrett. Devoted mother of Anne Louise Matiuschuk (David). Cherished nana of Jennifer (Bradley) and Jason (Megan). Dear sister of Frank (Josephine), Jenny (Frank), Paul (Molly), Corky (Tom), Sheila (Les), Christine (Kon) and Joe (Eva). Aunt Frances was loved and very fond of all her nieces and nephews on both the Feniuk and Garrett sides of the family and got to hold her last great-great-great-great-nephew Sebastian Ramundo a couple of weeks before her passing, which put a sparkle into her eyes. The family would like to thank the Vujovic and Kurek families for being wonderful neighbours and always being there to lend a hand to Nana. Frances was an avid gardener who would always make sure that the neighborhood squirrels and birds never went hungry. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 am. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
