September 26, 1936 – March 1, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Kovacs on Sunday, March 1, 2026 after a long journey with Alzheimer’s disease. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Frank was the heart of his family and a man of immense resilience.
Born in Hungary, Frank immigrated to Canada in the pursuit of a better life. With an unwavering work ethic and a spirit of determination, he built a home and a future for his family in his adopted country. He spent his life ensuring his loved ones were cared for, leaving behind a legacy of sacrifice, love, and strength.
Frank will be deeply missed by his son, daughters, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as the many friends and community members whose lives he touched.
The family will receive friends at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Friday, March 6 from 1-5 p.m. and on Saturday, March 7 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The rite of committal will follow in Lundy's Lane Cemetery.
