

On Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Niagara Health System – St. Catharines after a very lengthy battle with kidney disease. Glenn is predeceased by his loving wife Janice Bailey. Dear father of Rebecca “Becky” Rodgers. He will be sadly missed by his companion Wendy Coit (Stephanie and Jonathan). Glenn will be missed dearly by his and Jan’s faithful friend Judy Bogar. Special “Papa Glenn” to Zachary Taylor, with whom he shared his love of fishing. Predeceased by his parents; Elizabeth and Stewart Rodgers. Fondly remembered by his brothers; Stewart-Ian (Elisa Blundell) and (the late Fran) , Sheldon (Donna), Donald (Beth), and his sisters; Lynne (Doug) Dyment, Gail (Tom) Moore, Candice (Rick) Mansell, and Beth(Michael Jones) Petrie. Much loved son in law of Barbara Bailey. Predeceased by his in-laws; Howard and Alice Bailey. Brother in law of David (Kathy) Bailey, Norm (Judy) Bailey, Linda Tabler, Debbie Hawkshaw, Sandra (Marty) Hawkshaw, and the late Barbara (the late Bruce) Downer. Nephew of Frank (the late Rita) Massard, Betty Gibbs, Millie Wood, Muriel (Cliff) Poidevin, and the late Margaret Helliwell. Glenn will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave. (905-354-5614). A Masonic Service will be held Saturday evening at 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11 a.m.in the Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum. If desired, memorial donations made to Wellspring Niagara or the Niagara Falls Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
