Harriette Kristene Bumister (Boumeester)

Beloved wife of the late John Bumister, cherished mother of Scott and Paul. Harriette lived an extraordinary life, one filled with travel, culture, and sharp wit. Alongside John’s international banking career, she embraced life abroad with confidence and curiosity — calling Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and London, England home along the way.

Harriette was truly one of a kind — vibrant, sharp, and always unafraid to speak her mind. She had a style and presence all her own. Some would call her spicy; many admired her candor and sense of humour. She left an impression wherever she went, and people loved her for it.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her fierce independence, her loyalty, and her unmistakable charm.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Harriette’s honour.
