Henry Anton Faller, aged 87, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. Born on October 28, 1938, in Germany, Henry’s life bore the weight of history and reflected a quiet strength of endurance—shaped early by hardship and later defined by a devotion to His Lord and Savour, Jesus Christ.
As a boy, Henry lived in Germany during a time of great turmoil. After the Second World War he and his family were sent to a concentration camp in Eastern Europe. He and his family escaped with the help of friends and eventually made their way to Canada. In Canada, Henry, worked hard, married and had 2 sons. Henry lost contact with them through some difficult years.
Henry dedicated much of his career to his work as an electronic technician, and was known as an expert in his field.
After some years in Toronto and Welland he moved to Niagara Falls where he started to attend the River of Life church in 2014. After a year or so he became a dedicated member of River of Life Church. In his later years Henry lived out his faith in meaningful ways. His Godly character, gentle encouragement, and humble, inspirational example touched many lives. He had a great desire for others to know the merciful and loving God he served. He will be greatly missed by the River of Life community and those living in the seniors complex on Aithanthus Ave.
A funeral service will be held at the River of Life Church building at 4189 Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario, on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
