Oh my Dear Hughes, I still miss you so much and think of those days when we shared an art studio on Queen in Niagara Falls. I am 92 years of age now, so if we are to meet again I know that I will not have to wait very long. Once again we shall sing and talk about true history. You dear young man were one of the few people who really knew the history of  the world. Much love to you dearest friend. geny heywood

Through my brother Don I became friends with Hugh at a young age. Without question he was the most intelligent person I had the pleasure to call my friend. God Bless & Rest in peace Hugh.

I didn't know Hugh well, but he certainly made a lasting impression on my life. I met Hugh through the open mic nights at a local cafe and I was always impressed by his talent, sense of humour and unique spirit. My thoughts are with Hugh's family at this time.
