Isabell Frost

FROST, Isabell (nee Decicco), passed away peacefully at GNGH on Monday, January 5, 2026, in her 93rd year, with loving family by her side. Isabell was predeceased by her parents, Francesco and Isabella Decicco, (Catharine Senese), her brothers Carl (Kitty) and Frank. She also lost her beloved husband, Albert James (Dick) in 2002, and her precious daughter, Catharine Ann, in 1965. She is survived by her devoted daughter Debby and sister-in-law Eleanor Frost, who has been a long time friend. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, all of whom she held dear to her heart. Isabell had strong faith and was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Church. She was involved in numerous charitable organizations, most notably St. Vincent de Paul. She received an award from the City of Niagara Falls for her extensive volunteerism. She was politically active, including being an integral part of both provincial and federal campaigns. Special thanks to cousins Linda Barrett and Shirley Ellison for their devotion to her; nieces Joanne (Don) Wright and Elaine Sonnenberg (Darren) for their constant support and caring; all of Debby's dear friends who adopted Isabell as their mother and loved her accordingly; and the staff of the Montrose Unit of Millennium Trail Manor for their care and camaraderie. Visitation will be held at Patterson Funeral Home (6026 Main St. Niagara Falls, ON) on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church on January 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
