Jack Bredin

Passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 90 years of age. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Barnes) for over 64 years. Loving father to Karen Hyatt (Wayne), Harold (Lisa), Sandra Smith (Ken Gowdy), Dave (Kim), and John (Karen). Sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, he is predeceased by 1 great grandchild. Jack is survived by his sister Barbara Catchpole, and brother-in-law Douglas Smith. Predeceased by his parents, John and Beatrice, and by his siblings William Bredin & his late wife Marjorie, Margaret (Peggy) Smith, and by Robert Bredin & his late wife Stella. A true gentleman, Jack was a respected foreman at Ohio Brass for many years; a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, a friend to many and loved by all.

Family and friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to First Baptist Church, Niagara Falls or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation Niagara Chapter would be appreciated.
