GARDNER, Jacqueline 'Jackie' Jeanne (nee Payne) - Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Millennium Trail Manor on Saturday October 16, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Stuart Austin Gardner (1971). Dearly loved mother of Michael Gardner, Catherine (John) Conlon, Peter (Diane) Gardner, Larry Gardner and Carol Gardner. Cherished grandmother of Jonah, Shirley, Michele, Shawn (Danielle), David (Jen), Joy, Badi, Eva (Ian) and Joseph. She leaves behind to cherish her memory sister Phyllis Orr, brother Roderick Payne, many great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her best friend Diane Toulmin of British Columbia. Predeceased by her parents J. Gordon and Eva Payne (nee Savoie), brothers George and Gordon, sister Shirley as well as her dear friend Irene Hicks. Jackie's family wishes to thank the staff of Cavendish Manor and Millennium Trail Manor for their superb care of their mother. Cremation has taken place. Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19, including the requirement for face coverings and maximum occupancy levels, friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1 pm at the funeral home. A private family Rite of Committal will follow at Lundy's Lane Cemetery.
