James Vincent Gallucci

GALLUCCI, James (Jim) - On Tuesday November 12, 2013 at GNGH, loving father of Janice and her husband Ken Crossman and “Papa Jim” to Adrienne and Alden Crossman. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Jo, parents Rocco and Teresa Gallucci, brother Rocky and sisters Kay Irwin and Margaret Zanini.

Many thanks to our family and friends for their love and support, especially Marg Irwin, Dave Gallucci, Lois Crossman and family, and Teresa McKay. We are eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion of Dr. Masood and the entire staff of Unit D at GNGH, especially Kim, Isabelle, Tracey and Georgina, as well as the E.R. doctors and staff. Thank you to Dr. Wilson Leung, Jim’s long-time family physician and his staff, Shelley and Alicia. Thanks also to Dr. Yaron Shargall, his wonderful secretary Shelley and his thoracic surgery team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. In addition, our sincere gratitude goes to everyone else involved in Jim’s care; the Staff of Lundy Manor, CCAC, St. Elizabeth Nursing, Physiotherapy, Trish his dietician and Father Gerard Power, O.Carm. for his visits.

Resting at the funeral chapel of HETHERINGTON & DEANS, 5176 Victoria Avenue, where family will receive friends Thursday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 4673 Victoria Ave, on Friday November 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
