Jennifer "Jen" Mary Edwards

Jen was the beloved daughter of Lewis (Selma) Edwards and the late Margaret (Hill) Edwards (d. 1994), her treasured mother. Jen was the cherished wife of the late Tony Vacca who predeceased her in October 2005. Jen was also predeceased by her sister Morwen Jackson who died in 2009. Among those left to mourn Jen’s loss are her brother David (Sue) Edwards, sister Denise (Eric) Henry and brother Peter (Zenia Buzanko) Edwards. Many nieces and nephews will miss Auntie Jen: Rhiannon St. Pierre (Chelsea Tardif), Declan Edwards (Lorein Codeimat), Sheila Edwards, Dan (Marlena) Edwards, Leslie Jackson, Rhys (Lina) Jackson, Alex Edwards, Tracey Henry (John Evans), Tonia (Marc) LeBlanc, Ryan Henry, Chris Henry (Erin Fitzpatrick) and Greg (Katie) Henry. Several great nephews and nieces also mourn Jen’s loss, as do family and friends from all over.

Jen was a fierce and independent free spirit. Dedicated to all things Bob Dylan, she was a diehard fan. She had an inexhaustible knowledge of all genres of music, supporting local artists in Niagara as well. Jen was also a voracious reader of poetry and prose as well as a dedicated gardener. We will all miss her terribly.

Jen will be laid to rest beside her beloved Tony in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are being made through Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel in Niagara Falls.
