HALKA, John - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday August 13, 2015 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 61 years to Kristina (Rittmann) Halka. Dearly loved father of Anne (Joe) Lostracco and Rosie (George) Arseneau. Cherished Grandpa of Chris (Sunmi) Lostracco, Stephen (AJ) Lostracco, Joanna Lostracco, John Arseneau and Eric Arseneau and great-grandpa of Jiyoo Marie. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Halka. Dear uncle of Stephanie and Ronald. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
