John 'Jack' Kerr

KERR, John "Jack" - Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Meadows of Dorchester on Saturday September 17, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Janice (Blackwell) Kerr. Dear step-father to Sandra Finn, Bill and Nancy Blackwell, Susan Crane, Stephen Blackwell, David and Stephanie Blackwell. Lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, especially his Godson and namesake, Jayden John Quait. Dear brother-in-law of Jimmy, Norm and Jack Dockstader and their families. Jack will be fondly remembered by his good friend Jackie Grant and by the "Holy Huggers" and his dear friends at Chippawa Presbyterian Church. Jack had worked for the Ford Glass Plant retiring after 30 years of service.Cremation followed by a private interment has taken place. A Memorial Service in celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday September 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Chippawa Presbyterian Church.
